Huntsville Astros Officially Join the International Football Alliance for the 2025 Season

HUNTSVILLE, AL – The International Football Alliance (IFA) is proud to officially welcome the Huntsville Astros as a full league member for the 2025 season. The Astros will bring high-level professional football to the Rocket City this summer, delivering hard-hitting action, community pride, and family-friendly entertainment.

To celebrate the team’s official entry into the league, fans are invited to a special Meet and Greet tonight, May 9th, from 5 PM to 9 PM at P.F. Chang’s in Huntsville. This is an exciting opportunity to meet the ownership group, coaching staff, some players, and cheerleaders who will represent the city this season.

“This is a major milestone for the great city of Huntsville and our organization,” said Anthony Richardson, Team Owner. “The Astros are ready to compete and inspire the right way, and unite the Huntsville community through the game of football.”

The 2025 season will mark the Huntsville Astros’ debut in the IFA’s summer schedule, featuring a high-intensity eight-game slate followed by playoffs. As a full member, Huntsville will also host four home games, bringing fans right to the heart of the action.
