Recap From The Live Interview
1) The IFA will have 4 teams for 2026 - All within the United States. This allows the league to maximize the developmental part of the league's mission. Few players allowes to gain maximum talent and better coaching. Less saturation of lower-quality players and coaches. The league will continue with the international players and integrate them with the league teams and player policies moving forward.
Fewer teams allow the operations to focus on the developmental aspects of the players on the teams. The league will refocus on the mission of bringing quality players to the locations. The league standards for any player or coach being part of the league have been removed. If you don't meet the coaching levels or the player requirements for our league, you will not be allowed inside our league. We aren't just a football league for players to play in; we want our players to be coached by quality coaches and retain good film, and move them to the next level. If they just want to play football... There are plenty of those leagues that will accept those players and coaches. We are not that league moving forward.
